One Table

This past week and the weekend was so crazy! I did not realize my world would be so altered just by baseball. Running here and there, nonstop! I was reminded by a dear friend that when things get crazy, just take a drink of Jesus! (good story…will research more and then share with you guys!) Well, I took a lot of drinks from my Jesus cup this past week.

I wish I could share with you all the amazing emails that I receive from you guys. I know you already know, but just to remind you, God is really working through these verses. I ask you to take the time each day to remember your Word Warrior Buddies. Just take the time to lift them up to God. You may not know all their names, but He does. There have been several who have shared the trials they are facing and will be facing. Each of us has our own share of troubles, but just remember David tells us in Psalms 91:4, “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings, you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield.” He will never leave us or forsake us!

I want you to know, I sit at this computer and think of each and every one of you. Each of you is so special and important to me. Some of you I have known for a short time and some of you I have known my whole life. A dear friend ended her email by referring to me as her sister in Christ. Wow! I loved it! This whole week I have really thought about that, it has really stuck with me. This little venture to learn a bible verse each week is so much bigger than what I realized and probably you realized. We (hopefully all of us) are taking the time to learn the Word and hide it in our heart. By hiding His word we are preparing ourselves for things to come. We are also drawing ourselves closer to Him. We have come together as brothers and sisters in Christ! How amazing! Do you guys know the power of that! Whew, I have got chill bumps! I started this email with another scripture, but as I type God has directed me in another direction. I loved the verse, “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:10 (NIV) And, we will definitely come back to it.

I thought of this verse when I read the email from my “sister in Christ”, and it just kind of stuck. My preacher even touched on it in his sermon. I was still thinking of Matthew 5:10, but apparently He changed my mind! So, here goes…

You have a choice, the long or the short version. Either way, I feel the verse could really help you out. However, I do encourage you to learn 18-20!!!

18″ I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. 19 “Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for , it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18: 18-20 (NIV)
Powerful!!!!

I pray that God will be with each of you this week and keep you and your families safe. Look for him in Everything!!

I love you guys!

YOUR SISTER IN CHRIST!!!
