He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Romans 8:32 NIV

We are always in need of God. Whether it be in bad times or in good. I am so thankful He is always there, always faithful and never-changing.  He did not promise an easy ride, but He did promise He would never forsake us, never leave us alone. Listen, there is peace in the storms my friend.  We just have to remain so very close to the The Master. Cling to Him.  Trust in Him!  When we focus on the storm and the uncertainties in our life, we are weighted down with doubt and fear.  Having hope in Christ is believing in His promises not just “hoping” for them to be true.  When we are free of this the burden, hopelessness is lifted, allowing us to love others and be about Christ business.  We are free to serve and love others in such a way they see the Hope that dwells within.

Some may wonder how can we be certain of this “hope” and believe in God’s promise.  How does one attain this hope?  Our hope is given and strengthened through the word of God… reading, hearing and believing. You see in all my ugliness, my sins… God sent His one and only Son to save me.  Christ died for me and He rose again and all of God’s promises are in Him.  Read in his scriptures… My hope is built and strengthened in Romans 8:32 He who even did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give all things. AMP  This is HIS promise! Because I believe in the cross and the resurrection, I trust and have hope that God is working all things our for me.  No matter what circumstances come my way, my future is secure.  My friend, there IS peace in this truth.  Have hope!

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.  Romans 15:13

For you, O Lord, are my hope, my trust, O Lord, from my youth. Psalms 71:5

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Romans 12:12

Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God. Psalms 42:11

Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD. Psalms 31:24

When calamity comes, the wicked are brought down, but even in death the righteous have a refuge. Proverbs 14:32

But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him.
Jeremiah 17:7
