the devil said what…

One Table

Just a few words from my heart…

I desperately desire to be bold, unashamed, and radiant for my Lord.

The enemy QUICKLY grabs me and preys on my insecurities…  Telling me to keep quiet, it’s not my story, you will only be taken as boastful or full of pride…

I have probably written a hundred or more post in my head…  Through doubt and fear I regretfully dismiss, put away, or forget.

Would it have made a difference?  My words?  His words?

Out of fear, at times, I have held back.

I have screamed RADIANT, asking others to BE HIS LIGHT!  Yet, I often only shine mine when it is easy and comfortable.  God has been putting me in uncomfortable places lately and yet I am so grateful.  I can feel Him moving in my life like never before.  He is doing a work in me and I KNOW it!  That is so hard for me to say.  Silly.  I know.  It shouldn’t be…  But, the enemy says,  Well aren’t you confident…  Sounding a little holy to me…

Looking up it’s as if I could hear Him laughing…  Plastered on the back of the man He has blessed me with…  Reminding me of His promises with a real God wink…

I can’t use fear as  a crutch anymore.  I know my place and I know it is He that is in me.  We have to quit stopping short of just receiving His grace.  Amazing Grace is more than just a song we sing.  Grace is a state in which we choose to live in.  {thanks PB}  We have to learn to walk in it everyday!  Walking in Grace simply means I trust Christ to be who He is in me.  My actions are a result of the work He is doing in my life.  So, when we exercise the grace of God it allows us to step out, acting in a way that requires total trust in Him.  The result should be Him.

I am smart.   2Timothy 3.16

I am confident.   Proverbs 3.6

I am kind, compassionate.  Psalms 23.6

I am powerful.   2Timothy 1.7

I am courageous.   Phillipians 4.13

I am not afraid.   1John 4.18

I am RADIANT.   Matthew 5.14-16

And yes, He is giving me a story to tell.    1Peter 3.15

8 What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law,but that which is through faith in[a] Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith.  phillipians 3.8-9

We as Christ followers need to claim what He has given to us, what dwells within… I shared with a friend last night…. when we realize who it is that we battle daily, we learn to fight differently! I know who it is that sneaks up and whispers doubt and fear in my ear… his voice is all too familiar. BUT I also know The Voice of TRUTH and as the songs screams ~ “The Voice of truth tells me a different story… and The Voice of truth says this is for my Glory…”

Praise God I am a new creature IN CHRIST! I pray I have the wisdom, the knowledge the boldness to never walk unashamed. And to believe I have a story worth telling…  for His GLORY!

I write solely with Christ Kingdom in mind.  To encourage and strengthen others on the journey.  May He always be seen in my words, my life and my story.

Desiring to always be a light on a hill, a RADIANT beacon directing to the love, hope and saving grace of Jesus Christ.

6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, 7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulnessColosians 2.6-7

Today… let us be confident in Him and who we are in Christ!

Walking in His grace,
