We capped off the graduation festivities with a little roadtrip adventure.

⚡️#elrodssundaybest was spent with this fine crew hitting every coaster and then some. We showed my nephew how to do it up right on his first trip and he loved it! We played hard and gave it all we had… we were worn out, sweaty, burnt, stinky with a slight headache… I mean, if you aren’t, did you even go to Six Flags?! 😜

DISCERNMENT.
For quite some time I’ve had this burning passion for God’s Word. It wasn’t always there, but there was this point in my life where something changed. I’m grateful. I’ve experienced seasons of ebb and flow in my intent with scripture…
But always, I have known the power of His WORD to transform and to draw one closer to Him… allowing one to know Him more intimately. The Word of God continually refines and we should be grateful.

So, WHY read our Bible?
Well. One, it brings LIFE.
It also gives WISDOM, discernment, restoration, hope and PEACE. It reveals the nature of God and His nature reflects His will.
God’s WORD is living, active, ENOUGH, TRUE and for us today.

I am daily reminded in this FALLEN world that we are LOST without the Word of God, and without discernment from His Truth and the Holy Spirit we are DECEIVED. Without discernment we also fail to see God’s goodness. Discernment is not just for spotting the injustices and evil of this world but also seeing His beauty, Truth and all that is good.

There’s so much I want to say, but it pails in comparison to this simple message I am passionate in sharing…

Open YOUR BIBLE and READ God’s WORD.♡

Friend, “…it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and ALL discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ.”
Philippians 1:9-10
