Ruth, the word warrior…

I couldn’t help but notice her in this little country church…  beautiful lady, pretty dress, radiating Jesus and red hair! {my kinda gal!}  But, it wasn’t until she volunteered to recite His WORD that she truly spoke to my heart…  A small congregation encouraging one another to hide HIS Word in their hearts…  I KNEW I was in the right place.

Some how, in our little agreement on obedience…  I had found myself in one of the most rare places on earth. I can’t wait to share more of my time there…  still no words are adequate… I am  waiting for my heart to settle, to find the words.  One thing I am certain, HIS presence was so real there, His promises are true…  and I long to be back with the people I left there.

In this breath taking valley, I found greater beauty in the people that dwell there.  They have a hunger for Jesus that just awakened my soul.  I was reminded of his WORD…

As iron sharpens iron,
    so one person sharpens another. {Proverbs 27:17}

At the beginning of each month, Wesley Chapel chooses a beautiful verse from His WORD and encourages one another to hide it in their heart!  How fabulous!!  I am loving this!!  So, please join me each month and connect with other brothers and sisters in Christ hiding His word!  How groovy, His word connecting across the miles.

This month…

“If you love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.” John 14:15-16

So thankful for this Word Warrior, this beautiful lady and so thankful that our story doesn’t end here,  it’s just the beginning…

thankful and overflowing,

Eleanor R.
