I’d rather have Jesus. . .
So, the other day, I found myself having this really intense conversation about choosing to live a godly life. I mean, I wasn’t really trying to convince anyone of becoming a Christian. I was just explaining all the benefits! We are constantly facing trials in this crazy life we live in and I can’t imagine how I would handle things if I did not know Jesus and choose to seek HIM daily.
Too often we go looking for quick fixes. . . Searching for something, anything that will make us happy and complete. Let me say that I am nowhere near where I want to be as a Christian. . . BUT, I know I am far from where I used to be. I still get very impatient, too often doubt, jump to conclusions, use words that are not uplifting and just struggle with everyday challenges.
IF you and I sat down and we discussed your problems and what you could do, I would answer. . . “Jesus.”
If you asked, “What should I do?” I’d say, “Jesus.”
If you said, “Well, IF we could just do this or go get that. . .” I’d Say, “Jesus.”
or “Well, I am just too tired.” . . . “Jesus.”
“Is it worth it?”. . . “Jesus.”
“But, I have to. . . ” I’d say”Jesus.”
“We don’t have the money.” . . . “Jesus.”
and then, “There is just not any extra time.” . . . “Jesus.”
JESUS. JESUS. JESUS. HE is the answer! IT is that simple. Really. I KNOW! How do I know? Because I believe in Jesus Christ, I believe in God THE Father and I believe in The Holy Spirit and I believe the BIBLE is The WORD of God! If you believe in Him, then what is the problem?!?! How can you believe in Him and not believe the Bible?! You can’t! And the Bible says,

Natalie, I have to tell you that when I just posted the “Am I Even Worthy” devotion I had not even read this. It’s amazing that we both just shared about God’s love for us and putting Him 1st place in our lives. His love and His presence is so overwhelming sometimes. I’m so thankful, I could never, ever have enough of Him.
