draw your swords…

One Table

Hey Guys!
Hope every one’s Monday is going better than mine. The devil is working overtime trying to keep me from sending out His Word!! But, Here I Am!!! I don’t know about you guys, but that was a really tough verse for me to learn. I am not sure why, I think I just got it in my head that it was soooo long, but I managed to hide it in my heart. I just hope I don’t hide it where I can’t find it!! lol

Yesterday, I was sitting in church, and I thought if the pastor put me on the spot would I be able to successfully “draw my sword”. Suddenly, I found myself getting really nervous and a little hot! My under arms had these jolts of pain running through them. (I don’t know, I guess it is a nervous reaction.) Anyway, once I managed to calm myself down, convince myself he was NOT going to ask me to quote scripture during his sermon, I was then able to recall our verses. Yes, I would love to be able to “draw my sword” without even thinking and without sweating profusely. BUT, the most important thing is being able to use it in my day to day life. Hopefully, by taking the time each Monday to read my email, you are taking a little time with God and some of these verses are sticking with you. You may not remember all of them or know them word for word. But, if you are devoting a small portion of your time to reading this email and making an attempt to memorize…you ARE spending time with him and reading His word. And that is SO GROOVY!!! He will bless you for doing so, I KNOW IT!!! The more time we spend with him the better we are going to be. Just by hiding his word in our hearts we are putting on the toughest armor made. We are able to face things and deal with them better. Whether it is not loosing our temper to being able to face this very scary economy. His word will batter equip us to handle every situation. You know, the more time we spend with Him, the more familiar He will be, His voice will be. You know we are always praying for something, asking for His help in a situation. Well, if we are going to ask then we also need to be able to hear Him! So, please continue to make the effort to hide his word in your heart. I encourage you to take time to read these verses, hide it in your heart and just spend some time with Him!!! He is REALLY COOL!!!

“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall” Psalms 55:22 (NIV)
WOW!!! It is really true. Give it to Him! Surrender it to Him, Strength is in Surrender!! He will take care of you and He WILL NOT let you fall. TODAY, trust in Him and have a wonderful week! Remember to lift up you Word Warrior Brothers and Sisters, we are all facing difficult things. Remember…”For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20

I love you guys so much!!!! You have been such a blessing to me and made me take the time for Him!!! Thank you!

Your sister in Christ,
Natalie
