Posting today over at We Are Rooted…  I was remembering where this whole Word Warrior thing started.  Thought I would share with you my first email that I sent out…  Full and overflowing today and thanking God for the work He has started in me…

Hello Dear Friends!

Okay, there is something that has been on my mind for sometime now, and I have finally decided to do something about it!  Not too long ago, it was brought to my attention, the idea of not having the freedom to read my Bible.  How terrible!  Far fetched, but could happen.  In our day and time, anything is possible.  The more I thought about this, the more I realized I did not know the Bible.  Well, actual scriptures.  I know the great stories of the Bible and I could probably find them with a little thumbing through.  I know scripture, but not the verse or chapter where it can be found.  Just say there came a time we no longer had the freedom to read our Bible, to own a Bible.  I wouldn’t be able to teach my precious children the Word of God!!!  I mean really, think about it and how it could effect you and those you around you!  SCARY!!!!

Okay, all that brings me to this.  I would like to take a verse each week, email it to you guys and challenge and encourage you to learn scripture with me.  I mean, this would be really good.  I am in deep need for the Word!  Now, some of you may not be interested, but I am going to email you anyway!!!  (Just delete me if you are not interested.)  For those of you who are…  may God bless our diligence and hard work!!!
